Welcome to CrossFit Wilmington! We are celebrating our 10 year anniversary as an all-inclusive, fitness and wellness complex in Wilmington, NC. We are Eastern North Carolina's oldest CrossFit Affiliate opening our garage doors in January of 2008. Our goal is to carry on the mission to provide the highest quality fitness training to residents and visitors to the Wilmington area. CrossFit Wilmington constantly strives to be the best part of our members' days!

If you train the WODs hard, eat right and get lots of sleep, you will definitely gain lean mass and lose fat. And yes, you can build muscle mass with the CrossFit protocol. The CrossFit protocol is designed to elicit a substantial neuroendocrine wallop and hence packs an anabolic punch that puts on impressive amounts of muscle, though that is not our concern. Strength is. Those athletes who train for function end up with better form than those who value form over function. This is one of the beautiful ironies of training.

CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. These are the core movements of life. They move the largest loads the longest distances, so they are ideal for maximizing the amount of work done in the shortest time. The more work you do in less time, or the higher the power output, the more intense the effort. Overall, the aim of CrossFit is to forge a broad, inclusive fitness supported by measurable, and repeatable results. The program prepares trainees for any physical contingency—Our specialty is not specializing.
